The first step to do when you go abroad is:
1. Research study abroad programs at your University
a- Ask questions about everything
b-Budget,budget and budget
2.Get a big box where to fit yourself, so you can mail yourself through UPS. NOT FEDEX they check their boxes. Ok, so that is the first step to get prepare.(Plane Ticket)
3. Things to buy at a store:
a. Power converter
b. Underwear (lots and an extra one)
c. French dictionary (there are no french dictionaries, idk)
d. Travel pillow (comes handy in the plane if you know what I mean)
e. Medicine (they do not have tylenol in france or known brands, well to us)
f. Comfortable shoes, girls one pair boys one pair too
g. Make up, it is expensive in france
h. Buy/bring if you are american: PEANUT BUTTER, if you are mexican: CHILES o EL TAPATIO hot sauce
NOTE: They do not eat spicy food in FRANCE!!!
Travel Light!
1- Don’t pack alot of clothing (you are very likely to buy clothing while abroad=)
2-One piece of luagage and a carry on should be enough(you can buy another one for souvenirs on your way back)
Things not to forget at the airport:
1-Validate your ticket before you get on the train! ( you will get a fine if you don’t)
2-Make sure you sit on your assigned seat! and that you are on the right cart. (You might end up in a diferent location, city)
